DPC Alliance Malpractice Insurance

Finding an affordable malpractice insurance policy that provides an effective level of coverage for you and your practice can be an enormous headache. To that end, the DPC Alliance has been working to develop a malpractice program in partnership with HUB International. We forged this relationship with HUB on the recommendation of DPC Alliance members that reported having an atypically positive relationship (for the industry) with their HUB agent.

Where Are We Today?

To get the DPCA malpractice program off the ground we need to collect at least one-hundred DEC Sheets and Run Loss Reports from our members. Over the past few years we have attempted to reach these thresholds but--due to the administrative burden that collecting this documentation is for busy DPC docs doing the real work of caring for patients--we never quite got where we needed to be.

But this is going to be the push that gets us across the finish line by the close of 2021. To achieve this we reached out to the HUB team to see if they could do the legwork for our members. They let us know that they would be willing to collect the DEC Sheets and Run Loss Reports on behalf of our members.

To that end, please find a DPCA MedMal - Release of Information Authorization form linked here and embedded below.

Next Steps for You

Option 1: Fill out this form to authorize HUB International to solicit your malpractice documentation and compile it for the purposes of setting up the Malpractice Program.

Option 2: Use the instructions linked here to collect your malpractice documents yourself and email them in

The DPC Alliance is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit incorporated in the state of Maine.
